I work with individuals ages 12 and up who are navigating anxiety, depression, identity concerns, and life transitions. I have a passion for supporting first responders and others in high-pressure roles. With a background as a paramedic, I bring an understanding of the unique demands and experiences that can come with that work.
I also work with individuals who may feel misunderstood or out of place, as well as those navigating more complex or intense internal experiences. This includes working with suicidal thoughts, self-harm, or perceptual experiences, with a focus on creating a space where these can be explored safely and without judgment.
I have experience working with substance use and co-occurring concerns, and I support clients in building emotional awareness, strengthening self-esteem, and developing healthier ways of coping.
My approach to counseling is person-centered and collaborative. I balance a client-led style with gentle guidance, helping you explore your experiences while also building practical tools for growth and change. I value creativity in the counseling process and incorporate your interests to make sessions more engaging and meaningful.
I am respectful of diverse belief systems, including spiritual, existential, and non-traditional experiences. I approach each person with curiosity rather than assumptions and strive to create space for all aspects of your experience, including those that may feel difficult to explain.
Lo siento, pero no hablo español. Si necesitas los servicios de un consejero o una consejera que habla Español, envíame un mensaje y puedo conectarte con un consejero o consejera bilingüe. Muchísimas gracias.
